Wildcat

I finally went to the Wildcat Cafe, which is Yellowknife's first cafe. It originally openend in 1937 and now there is an exact replica of it in the Museum of Civilization in Ottawa. Anyway, the food was okay but I won't be going back for a while.



After dinner we went out for a drive to Dettah. The Northern sky was doing amazing things. I tried to capture it on my camera but I don't think this picture does it justice.


Dettah's ice road starts here. Looking accross, you can see Yellowknife. The sky was so amazing!


Later on at home, there was a huge storm. I took this picture outside the living room window. There was much lightening and thunder and rain. The sun was doing amazing things last night.
